My supplement list

I am taking the following supplements:

New Chapter Every Woman II

   x2 a.m. and x2 p.m.

Pau d’ Arco

   x2 a.m. and x2 p.m.

According to “Prescription for Herbal Healing” - “immune stimulant and is effective against bacterial, fungal, viral, parasitic, and yeast infections…also considered to be an anti-inflammatory agent.”

Black Cohosh

   x1 a.m. and x1 p.m.

According to “Prescription for Herbal Healing” - “balances hormone levels in both men and women…also useful in the treatment of stress-related symptoms during menopause and PMS…also nourishes the respiratory system and soothes sore throat.”

Raspberry Leaf Extract

   x1 a.m. and x1 p.m.

According to “Prescription for Herbal Healing” – “…uterine tonic…ability to relax tight uterine muscles and tighten relaxed uterine muscles.”

Milk Thistle

   x1 a.m. and x1 p.m.

According to “Prescription for Herbal Healing” – “…extraordinarily useful in the treatment of liver diseases such as alcoholic hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver poisoning, and viral hepatitis…also regulates the digestion of fats, helps stabilize blood sugars and cholesterol, reduces inflammation of the intestine, and promotes the excretion of certain hormones.”

Evening Primrose Oil

   x1 a.m. and x1 p.m.

According to the NIH“eczema, rheumatoid arthritis, breast pain associated with the menstrual cycle, menopausal symptoms, and premenstrual syndrome, Other conditions for which evening primrose oil is used include cancer and diabetes”

Dong Quai

   Extract dosage is 30 drops 2x/day

According to “Prescription for Herbal Healing” – Helps with some “menopause and PMS symptoms, and is also used in the treatment of arthritis, chronic kidney inflammation, various blood-vessel disorders, pernicious anemia, and neuralgia”

During my monthly cycle, I keep track of the days. When I reach day 14 I start taking:

Wild Yam Extract

   Extract dosage is 30 drops 2x/day

According to Circular Times – PMS, menopause, pregnancy, osteoporosis

Then starting with the last 5 days before my cycle starts:

PMS tea

   x1 tea bag a.m. and p.m.

According to TeaLand“herbs traditionally used to support the kidneys’ function of eliminating fluids” … Ingredients are:“Roasted dandelion root, roasted carob pod, roasted barley grain, roasted chicory root, parsley leaf, oatstraw herb, nettle herb, chickweed herb, uva ursi leaf, cornsilk style and stigma, cramp bark”
